Common questions
Very likely. All flights are conducted under an FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate, following airspace rules for the Colorado Springs area. If your location sits inside controlled airspace near the airport or the Air Force Acedemy, that authorization gets handled before take off. Only locations that are very close to the runway are not permitted. Contact me and I'll let you konw for sure.

Closer than most drone operators are comfortable with — that's the point of FPV. Every location gets scouted first, so the proximity is planned and deliberate, not improvised.
Wind and Colorado's fast-changing weather are part of flying here. If conditions aren't safe or the light isn't right, we reschedule at no extra cost.
Most small business shoots run 60–90 minutes on site. Multiple shots and angles get batched into one flight window, so you're not paying for setup time twice.
Raw or color-graded clips, cut both vertically (Reels, TikTok, Stories) and horizontally (YouTube, your website), typically delivered within 3–5 business days, with full rights to use however you like.

I’ll never forget the awe I experienced when I got to wake up to see Pikes Peak for the first time. Soon I was jumping at the chance to get out in beautiful Colorado to hike fourteeners. In the springtime, you’ll find me out East chasing the beautifully sculpted supercells of Colorado. As an FPV pilot, now I can get explore dive the mountain I just summitted, but I can now get up close and personal Mother Nature.
I have a degree in Digital Arts, and have been working in video production for over 10 years. I’ve had several successful YouTube channels showcasing my diverse hobbies from speed cubing to storm chasing, and I recently became a dad who’s eager to show how amazing Colorado is to my daughter.
So why do I fly FPV? Yes, it’s enjoyable to glide through a concert, chase kids down the field, and feel the adrenaline surfing down a fourteener; ultimately though, it brings back that same feeling of awe I felt when I first moved to Colorado.
